Lancashire North also runs a GK Academy and this is open to all young goalkeepers both boys and girls.
All who wish to be selected for the County squads should attend the GK Academy and then attend the Assessment day on the 11th November 2018.

Lancashire North Development Centres 2018/2019

The Lancashire North Development Centres for the U13 - U17 age groups start on the 30th September and are being held at two venues in the County.
1.   AKS School Lytham for the U13 and U14 age groups
2.  Garstang Community Academy for the U15, U16 and U17 age groups.
Players, please make sure with your parents you are registered with the England Hockey player pathway system  https://www.playerpathway.englandhockey.co.uk/player_enrollments/new 
Parents please also make sure payment is made before your son/ daughter attends the 1st coaching session.  Please do not take it on the day to hand to the coaches.
Follow the instructions in the parent newsletter you will have received either from the Lancashire North Administrator, your son/ daughters club or school.

Coaching Reminder

Just to confirm the U16/17/18 Girls coaching is on this Friday at AKS. It’s the final coaching session before the 1st tournament date on Sunday at Altrincham Girls Grammar School. Please make every effort to attend.

Also U12 Girls coaching at Stonyhurst College on Friday 23rd March. Let’s hope for some warmer weather.

Lancs U13 Hockey Coaching

The U13 hockey coaching due to be at Rossall this morning has been cancelled do to the weather.
A date will be looked at for rearrangement and we will let everyone know as soon as possible.

U14 Boys & Girls Tournaments

Both the U14 tournaments - Boys at Chester and Girls at Neston are cancelled tomorrow due to the weather conditions.

U15 Boys Tournament

The U15 Boys tournament at Kings School Macclesfield has been cancelled due to snow and cold conditions.

U15 Girls Tournament

The U15 Girls tournament at Altrincham tomorrow has been cancelled.
A new date has yet to be decided on.

Lancs North U13 Tournament 4th March 2018

The U13 tournaments scheduled for the 4th March at Preston Hockey Club and Stanley Park have been cancelled due to the current weather conditions.
The date has now been changed to Sunday 29th April 2018 and the venues remain the same. Please make a note of the change of date.

NW Inter Counties Tournament Dates and Venues

The first tournament date in the NW inter counties calendar is Sunday 4th March. 2018
This is the U13 age group. The boys tournament is at Preston Hockey Club and the girls tournament at Stanley Park Blackpool. Matches are from 9-45am - 3-30pm and the U13 coaches will give more detail.
The second date for the U13 boys and girls is Sunday 15th April 2018. The Boys tournament venue is Preston Hockey Club and the Giirls tournament is Fylde Hockey Club, Mill Farm, Wesham. Players will be required all day as above but again coaches will give more detail nearer the time.
The U14 NW tournaments are as follows: Boys - Chester Hockey Club

Both tournaments are on the 18th March and 22nd April
The U15 NW tournaments are as follows : Boys - Kings School Macclesfield

Lancs North U12 Coaching 23/02/2018

The Lancashire North U12 development group coaching has been cancelled tonight at Stonyhurst College due to the predicted drop in temperature to minus 2.
Please pass on to any U12 players so all get the message.

Lancs North U16 - U18 Coaching 23/02/2018

The Lancs North coaching session at AKS this evening has been postponed due to the likely drop in temperature to -2 . The new date will be Friday 23rd March 2018 6-30- 8-30pm

U13/U14 FIXTURES V GREATER MANCHESTER

Lancashire North U13 and U14 7 a side squads are playing Greater Manchester U13's and U14's.
two squads in each age group have been selected.
The match venue is Altrincham Girls Grammar School sixth form block which is where the astro turf pitches are based. The Sat Nav code is :- WA14 2SR
The match start time will be 10-15 so please meet at the venue for 9-30am.  Approximate finish time will be 12-15pm.
Please ensure you have all the necessary kit for the match.

Lancashire North Fixtures v Greater Manchester Girls

The Lancashire North U15's and U16-18's Girls squads have friendly fixtures against Greater Manchester on Sunday 11th February 2018.
The venue for the games is Altrincham Girls Grammar School - postcode WA14 2SR.
If both squads can meet at the venue for 9-30am and matches will then get underway by 10-15am.
The finish time will be approximately 12-15pm.
If there is a problem with the weather, information will be posted on the blog and on Facebook and Twitter.

Lancashire Coaching for U14 & U15 at AKS

The Lancashire Coaching for the U14 age group has been cancelled on 7th January 2018 due the high probability of frost on the pitch at AKS after overnight temperatures that are due to go down to -3.

The decision on the U15 age group will be taken in the morning (by 10-00am) as the later start time may well mean that the pitch will be OK for the U15 coaching to go ahead.
